I went over to a friend's house and setup the webserver using his Comcast internet service. And it took less than 5 minutes to setup!! Plus, it works!!!!!
For whatever reason, Verizon filtering out http requests some how. I don't know, but I'm just going to switch over to Comcast.
I was able to ping the address.
And I disabled the computer's firewall and still doesn't work.
I called the ISP (Verizon DSL) and asked them if they block certain ports and they told me only port 80.

i think the router itself is having issues.
i'll try to work with the manufacter support team. hopefully they can help me resolve this.
