Can anyone tell me of a way to create an ASR diskette (i.e. Partitioning information etc) that will work with the ASR recovery.
We are using ARCSERVE which writes an ASR diskettte after a full backup but we do not have the create bootkit option installed. The bootkit option just creates an ASR...
The reason we ask is that we have this installed onto clients servers which at the moment (i've said it now) have never needed to use the disaster recovery option so we thought we'd run through the proceedure. We know that companies are starting to make the floppy drive obsolete on their builds...

Can someone tell me if there is an option or a way of making the bootkit floppy disk into a CD instead ?
I.E. What do we do about a PC/Server with no floppy drive ? Can we create the files without having to put them onto a floppy to enable us to take them and burn them to a CD ?
