I am working with a site that has a pix firewall (waiting on model number from the site), and am attempting to establish a VPN connection from a Netscreen NS5xt behind the PIX to an NS500 at my home office.
He is NATing a public ip to an internal ip for the NS5xt.

From further research, it appears I may have to use the console and rerun setup.

When attempting to telnet into my 3500, I receive 3 Password prompts and then a %Bad Password response and the session exits.
It does not give me a chance to enter a password. Below is the output.
Any ideas on this? Is telnet disabled? If so, how do I re-enable telnet?

Can you configure a port on the 2950 for a mulivlan? For example can port 20 belong to both vlan 3 and vlan 4.
The 2950 was bought as the suggested replacment unit for a 3500. The 3500 has multivlan capability, but we have been unsuccessful in finding infomration on multivlans for the 2950.
