    I have been trying to install licences into ESX Server 3.5 using Host Licence File method. ESX accepts the licence file, but then will not enter licenced mode.Trying to change from unlicenced returns the following error msg: "There are not enough licences installed to perform the operation"...

    C$ share removal

    Try looking here to hide the share under GPO: http://www.tek-tips.com/faq.cfm?pid=931 Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't C$ a hidden system share (denoted by the $). So the user has to be defining the C$ share to be able to connect to it. Normal browsing shouldn't show the share.
