    See if you can remove the waste tray. If not, there is ink build up that may restrict movement of the printhead. The other possibility is the cam shaft behind the maintenance roller has cracked pawls. This throws the maintenance roller out of position.

    If there was a sheet of paper wrapped around the preheater entry roller (below the chrome guide) and was removed by pulling, chances are the paper pass flag is dislodged or broken off.     None of these models can swap printheads outside of their own nomenclature. The firmware will not handshake with the image processor. The inks between models are not compatible chemically. If mixed, they will coagulate and clog the jets.
