    How can I get my Gimp 2.2 to start?

    I am running Gimp 2.2 on a Windows 98 (I know! :P). Anyway, when it is starting up, the screen says "Looking for data files - Fonts" and then the program stops. I have to press Control-Alt-Delete to get out of it. How can I fix this?
