Hi All,
I have a 2511 and after updating the BootROMs to Version 11.0(10c)XB2, I get the message, "%SYS-4-CONFIG_NEWER: Configurations from version 12.2 may not be correctly understood, and F3: 11943416+616224+825900 at 0x3000060. The router is loaded w/12.2-10b IP Plus.
I am assuming...
Hi all,
There is a command "copy flash flash". I beleive this is where one router is being used as the TFTP server, but don't remember for sure. Probably going to look it up and try it tonight between two 2610s.
Hi all (again),
Well you know when in doubt, try something else. Figuring there must be another way to set console speed w/o going into ROMMON, I did a:
config t
line con0, then I punted (typed "?")
It just so happens there is a "speed" command for the combination receive and...
Hi all,
In practicing xmodem on a 2600 router, I changed the console speed to 115000 as was suggested in the Cisco website when running xmodem. I recovered from a deleted IOS, reloaded it, but cannot seem to return the console speed to 9600 from 11500.
I get into ROMMON, type confreg...
Make sure you can ping the TFTP server from the router. Depending on the TFTP server you are using (I was using the old Cicso one) you may want to shut it down and restart it. Worked for me one time.
Hi all,
I have successfully repartitioned a 2-partition flash set on a 2500 router to one partition. One flash set was read/write, the other one is a read only and I erased the read/write stick. I am trying to replace the IOS from an IP set to an IP/FW/IPSEC one and need more than an 8 Mb...
Hi All,
First, thanks for all your help, it is always appreciated. Got everything working now, after removing and reinstalling the NIC from the workstation configuration. That worked. I started again w/a 2501 and was able to copy the flash imaage to the tftp server (the old Cisco TFTP server...
Burt, CiscoGuy, and Dallas,
Thanks for your help. The workstation orginally was connected via console cable to several 2501's. In addition to practice (and backup) IOS transfers, the e0 port of the router(s) was connected to a NIC through a tranceiever and a straight-through cat5 cable. I...
Burt,
The router is connected to a workstation via the console cable. It is also connected from one of the router ports to the workstation network card via a crossover cable. I know the crossover is good because I saved IOSs to the TFTP server on the workstation the same night. This is for...

Hi all,
I have a 2505 I had been using in a lab. I had kept it because it has an IOS Enterprise version on it so it has been useful for practice. Haven't used it lately and when I boot it up, the hub light doesn't come on where the ethernet cable is plugged in. I have enabled the ethernet...
Thanks Simon, but I tried those files. They do not install completely, stoppoing after the second screen from the install. No program listing or shortcut is made in the start menu/desktop.
I tried to download Microsoft Live Meeting 2005 before 2007 came out which is not free anymore, but looks like I may have lost my chance. Anyone know where the full install is still available? All I can seem to find is plug-ins. Thanks in advance.

As always, Burt, thank you VERY much for the quick reponse. The address is ok, I'm using a loopback to configure reverse telnet, I just typed the command incorrectly, but you brought my attention to it. It is for my recertification lab. Hope you had a great long weekend. Again, thank you, sir!
