I fixed the problem yesterday by downloading the broken versions of the filesets (not the base), and installing with "installp -acgN"

Sorry, In my previous post I meant to say that I want to grep for the broken filesets to get the version numbers to re-install. And in the last sentence, I meant to say "Am I DOING a removal...
Thanks for the response. I'm new to AIX so I have a couple of questions about your reply. I see a lot of different commands used throughout these processes, and I've got them all confused.
How would I get a list of currently installed filesets? Specifically, to grep those that are broken...
