Upgrade Radiant P1220 to PosReady 2009

I have misplaced my P1550.wim for a hard-disk machine. If anybody has it somewhere, would likely help a few folks out. Regards, Tai

Upgrade Radiant P1220 to PosReady 2009

INSTALL Windows POSReady ONTO A RADIANT P1550 or P1220 USING A SMALL BOOTABLE PARTITION You will need one of these files (hereafter referred to as POSReady.wim): For P1550: For P1220: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/20166719/%5B1220%5DP1220POSRHD%20%281%29.wim This process will require...

Upgrade Radiant P1220 to PosReady 2009

I don't care to argue the point. In my experience, the hard disk machines do not boot to USB. I have built 4 of them without ghost or fancy tools. It's simple. Perhaps udoc machines are a bit different. Even after I figured out the other method, I tried to bring the USB boot option to life...

Upgrade Radiant P1220 to PosReady 2009

Additionally, you need to have PHYSICAL access to the Win 7 machine. A virtual one won't work. Tai.

Upgrade Radiant P1220 to PosReady 2009

These don't boot from USB. If you are good with computers - do you have access to a machine running Windows 7? I wrote a tutorial on how to do a fresh install and I am pretty sure I still have all the files. It's tricky and no point going into it if you don't have a Win 7 machine. They DO...

Upgrade Radiant P1220 to PosReady 2009

I can dig up my instructions to load this onto any machine. As long as you have access to a windows 7 machine to make the necessary images, it's actually quite easy (after about 10 hours of trial and error). Let me know if it is something you want. Oh!!! I don't know what udoc is. Mine...

Upgrade Radiant P1220 to PosReady 2009

Here is my update. Either the multiple attempts of bootable USB PE are not working or my "Removable Device" option in the BIOS of the p1220 is a farce. I am trying this method: http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/147085-solved-dual-boot-winpe-and-windows-7/ If it works, maybe it might help...

Upgrade Radiant P1220 to PosReady 2009

I just realized something - I am so dumb. I thought POSReady was Point of Sale Ready. I guess I need help figuring out how to get a clean install of XP on this thing. :-( Sorry for the multiple posts, there is no option to edit them.

Upgrade Radiant P1220 to PosReady 2009

FYI XP Embedded is what this beast had and I didn't realize it was so hobbled. I'm hoping POSReady will suit my needs to update this to a PCAmerica machine. Otherwise, if I could get help with an XP install, I would be so grateful.

Upgrade Radiant P1220 to PosReady 2009

Hi there, I have Radiant 1220 and I Want to run a different POS than Aloha. The system on it is a special build of XP. I lacks the ability to be upgraded as many of the critical admin functions have been completely removed from the system. System updates are impossible and I think I have...
