Thank you gnr......I'm finding a consistent problem now when making outbound calls from phones on this gateway. Destination cannot hear me; I can hear them okay. Problem does not exist if destination initiates the call.
No problem making station to station calls inhouse.
Hello, discovered an FXS port in Voice Gateway that is "unregistered". Attempting to reset/restart is not possible apparently.
First, generally how does a working port go unregistered and second how do I correct this?

Thanks for the reply.....I have several analog phones throughout the building, each with a unique extension that when I go off-hook will ring PLAR destination.
I assigned these analog phones to the Calling Search Space and unique Partition that I created for the PLAR destination.

Hello, working on a phone on which I configured PLAR, phone A. From what I understand the extension on this phone A is now dedicated to this "ring-down" function and so I can't call back to this extension from phone B. I receive a recording "You have reached a non-working number".
Does this...
That seems to have done the trick......under Device Information>Always Use Prime line set to Off. Now whatever line is ringing they can just pickup the handset to answer.
I have a related problem that I will start a new thread on.

Upon further reading I find that changing "Always Use Prime Line" under Device Info can be turned off and on so I will try that next.
I'll report the findings.
Hello, not sure if "Auto-Answer is the correct term, but i have an 8851 with 3 lines and I'd like to answer any ringing line by simply picking up the handset, not having to press the line keys. The phone does have a sidecar attached.

Thank you.....I've only ever used both as a way to forward calls, never inclusive of an agent group.
Now are ACDNs at all related to Service Directory Numbers from Call Pilot? I've seen overlap there.
Hello, could someone explain the difference between ACDN and Phantom? I know how to build each but never learned the purpose of either.
I've had to change some ACDNs to Phantoms or vice-versa after they quit functioning properly in their original states.
Thank you for any guidance!
Thanks bc, that was the ticket! Been at this 10 years and never knew the switchboard had that ability. You actually have to press Shift and then the TG key you want. this had to have been a deliberate action.
Much appreciated!
Greetings, suddenly we are unable to dial a local exchange. The call routes to our switchboard operator and they can make the call with no problem. I dial 9, and the seven digits and i get the switchboard. Other local exchanges seem to be okay.
Thank you for your any assistance!
Hi Group, I wanted to edit one of the scripts in Application Builder and I usually open it from home page of Call Pilot Manager.
The icon and link has disappeared from this page; its happened in past, just can't recall the fix.
I do have an App Builder icon on my desktop, but an Avaya window...
Hi, I'm experiencing a problem after connecting with destination party; the phone continues to ring and in this particular case I get an "all operators currently assisting.....". I'm dialing the operator.
I'm not sure how long this has been going on, but a little history. We have about 300...
Thanks I will check these items when I return to office.

I have to use the ProComm terminal for any work now.
Is there somewhere in software I can look to see where/when connection was lost?
Hi Group, up until a month or so ago I was able to remote in to PBX via putty session. I would enter Host name/ip address in Putty Config window and I was at the command line to enter user name/password.
Now I get a Putty Fatal Error window with message "Network Error: Connection Refused"
