    EMC file systems did mount automatically after addition of _netdev

    chgwhat, Thank You That makes sense to include it in the rc.local However, I also realised that the fstab needs to be tab delimited. I had spaces in mine ... which could have caused the mounting issues.

    So u saying once the network is up , it should mount automatically ? Coz in my case I had to type in #mount filesystem after some time when I realised the EMC filesystems are not up even after a long time after the boot up .
