This is a Server Edition.
IIRC on a Server Edition the licensing works a bit different than on a IP500. For starters, I don't think there is a Preferred Edition for a Server Edition lol.
Ok, but then Workplace would work as a SIP extension. Right? Because that's not what I need and I most...
I'm sorry, but what exactly does the Workplace app on the PC allows me to do?
Does it work as a CTI of my deskphone? Like old PhoneManager used to?
If so, how?
TIA
Cheers
EDIT: Answering to myself and hopefully helping someone else who googles the same question and ends up here...
Hi there. Thanks for taking the time to test it on your end.
So, could you please clarify if you have all your agents as members of all groups 1, 2 and 3?
Thanks.
Just as I predicted...thanks for confirming my initial fears.
Interesting. Never thought of doing that.
The work advantage is not what is worrying me. What's worrying me is that with a single group and all agents on it I think I'll loose the separate announcements that I've set up individually...
I have a customer with a small call center. They're around 10-15 agents, depending on the day of the week.
They receive calls for 7 products. These 7 products are the huntgroups.
Except for a couple of exceptions, all agents are members of all huntgroups.
Each product has it's own DDI.
One of...
In the (veeery) ancient days of Phone Manager app, it would be possible to select/highlight a phone number and have Phone Manager pass the number to the deskphone that would then make the outbound call.
Our customer is looking for an app that can either do that or maybe allow them to:
- copy the...
Make sure the phones are grabbing the 46xxsettings.txt from the SE. That's very important, because that's how the phones will receive the new certificate,
Also make sure http/https traffic is being allowed between the SE and the ip phones (in case of remote networks.
Oh, and it's not just press...
I can't see what's stopping you.
You clearly have a file.
Such file has CR/LF (win). Or at least simply LF (lnx).
You just import to excel and tell it the separating character is the space.
If excel can't use the space for that, then just run the file through a find/replace process and find all...
Also, if you type AT and press enter, the console respond with OK.
That's how you would prove that the serial connection is ok.
Make sure you set the flow control to None. PuTTY defaults that to XON/XOFF. You need it to be None.
There's no need to start the expansion module first and the IP500 later.
They can both be started at the same time. Since the IP500 will take longer to boot up, the expansion module will be up and running when the IP500 goes trying to find it.
So, booting at the same time is ok. But you did good...
No worries @dave_jey2004 , I didn't feel offended.
I understand that the procedure I offered to you didn't work. What I don't quite understand is what "is not working".
This thread started with a softconsole problem. You were trying to connect the L100 cable to the PC, but softconsole would not...
I can't because some idiot convinced the customer to use the web client and now they don't want to use the thick client anymore.
And they say it was working before the server restart. Nevertheless, I'm not much convinced that the restart had anything to do with the issue. My gut-feeling is they...
"it did not work" is a very vague expression.
If you need any help, you will need to start answering the questions people have asked you. Right now, I can't understand what is "not working"...
Any ideas, anyone?
Can someone at least let me know if your CC-Agent web sessions also expire after 1 hour. This a for a Wallboard.
Customer is saying it was working before we had to restart their ACR server.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers

No idea if they are going to make the critical patch available for 9.x, but I think the TimeZoneInfo.7z is a simple XML file.
If you download that 7z file and decompress it and you put the TimeZoneInfo.xml file in the right path on your computer (the path where Manager has...
