illustrator cs2 won't save - "An unknown error has occurred"
In response to Adamcurk: have you tried dumping your preferences? This didn't work for me but worked for a lot of other people. I think it's possible that my cs2 is an upgrade from cs1 even though I was told it was the full version - I'm not sure as im not in charge of purchasing the software...- cannon303

Hi thanks for your responses. For what it's worth here's how i got round the problem: I tried dumping prefs and re-installing etc but nothing worked. I gave up basically, and installed illustrator cs1. This was a brand new machine with nothing on it and CS1 and CS2 worked perfectly well on my...- cannon303

Hi i have been having a problem with illustrator. When i try to save i get a message "An unknown error has occurred", when i close that box i get another message "Can't finish previewing.
