This is because the exchange server can't find a local user.
One of the easiest ways of fixing this is to setup a user ie
user3@company.com and then set it to forward to their bt account user3@btconnect.com

I am having a similar problem with a BCM 3.7, out customer is using a program called livetaxi
the program use the lan cte client to pull the cli of the caller, this sparadically works, and i can't see any ryme or reason as to why it dose not work constantly on all systems
