My Windows backup utility doesn't see the CD-R/RW device.

My Windows backup utility doesn't see the CD-R/RW device.
I have a SONY CD-R/RW model: CRX220A1 which is working fine for playing and writing CD's. However when I attempt to use the backup untility with Windows XP, the only device available to backup to is the floppy drive. Is there a configuration change to be made enabling Windows to see the CD-R/RW...- nflash
