is there a book available showing how to do this? or is it possible/easier just to buy an empty box with a power supply,ID and termination maybe? I'm sure it's also possible to mount the drive inside the sampler, but as I said, both it and the pc cannot be on the chain at the same time. thanks btw.- Osella

is it relatively straightforward to take an internal scsi device and make it into an external one? I've rescued a 540mb IBM drive from an old apple and it's exactly what my sampler needs to back up to.
