    Okay, thanks for the suggestions. I played around with my transparency and was able to solve the issue.

    Thanks, I did figure out a way to get rid of them by editing my prefernce options. The problem now becomes that when I e-mail the file to someone else, the lines appear upon their opening.

    Hi, I'm new to this forum and fairly new to Indesign. I have a problem in that when I export an Indesign brochure to a PDF I get these weird lines in the background of the PDF. Is there any way to make this not happen? Thanks, Dave
