Thanks for that. I'd like to think my brand new Thinkpad would work with it. It works when I plug in a spare USB mouse I have. I don't want to block both usb ports with mouse/keyboard...and all of my keyboards are ps2 anyway.

Thanks - I suspect it could be a faulty device. The mouse/keyboard don't function on their own either.
I just bought it today, so I can return it, but it is hassle, and I don't know whether to get the same model or a different one (£20 instead of £15!)...ah well!

NO! That is why I needed to buy a USB adapter so I could plug in my PS2 keyboard & mouse. (I didn't want to spend £100 on a port replicator).
