Is it a Digital 1232 or analog? 1232D on the cover is Digital. old or new trace the door box wire to the unit. Open it if.. you tested what I first said. Make sure the system's off. Then pull out the card, or the connector to the main unit if everything looks good "not corroded" then reinstall...

OK so it said Extension 101 while on hook, I should hit the message key see ex- 101 then... hit transfer and it will let go of the light. Right? Thanks Eddie

OK will try it. if it is from another extension how do i clear it?

check to see if the outdoor box is corroded at the screws. other wise tone the line if its good start with a new door box. the card is still available i'm sure if you need to replace it
