    bcastner, Getting a second opinion from someone like you is very much appreciated. I would have like to disable the boardcasting of SSID on the wireless router but one of my adapter requires it in order to work. My over-paranoia about security is getting the best of me. Thank you. Stumpjumper

    bcastner, I have enabled password on both the wireless and wired router. Is there any other ways to block the access to the wired router?

    I have a home network in place with a Dlink 604 router and 3 pcs. I have a wireless router from netgear 803.11b that I just want to use as an access point. Is this possible at all. ?
