    1394 pc

    i'm trying to connect my pc to my laptop uising a firewire. the problem i'm having is that on my pc i'm running win2k and it can't find the drivers for microsoft 1394 pc & microsoft Nic 1394 to my knowlege there is no driver for this on my laptop runnning WinXp everything seems fine..

    DVD Rom

    i have a dell inspiron 8000 Laptop with TOSHIBA DVD-ROM SD-C2502 but have problems witht eh dvd rom it says divice is working properly and everything looks good but it will not read any cd i'mm tryed DVD,CDR etc it just says no disk in drive..Any ideas what could be wrong?
