rburke, I have very little experience, my ISP setup the router for us.
I do know how to console into the router, do some simple command like show interface, set the interface up or down. What do you suggest I should do?

This is very strange. My port 110 failed to get incoming mails from external. It works after I powercycle the computer, the firewall and the router (not sure which one fixed it). I can send email, I can get on the internet, except getting external emails. LAN email works fine.

The problem seems to disappear, well I should say I do not know what I change to make it work again, I swap out the switch, the cables, etc. But thanks for the info guys!

I have not done any bios upgrade. And my server do not go into hibernation or sleep mode, I think the only think it does is the monitor turn itself off.
I have 2 linux webserver running Apache and one regular windows PC sitting on the same switch running static IP address.
Something happened and I lost connection to either one or both of the linux server, the activities on the system seems ok, no Denial of Service attack, no ping to death trace...

I suspect someone is forwarding emails from the email server to his personal account, without permission. Is there a way to trace where the email end up? I am using IMail with MS Outlook.
