I am running XP and have been setting myself up for protection after my previous woes...
I have a virus program, firewall, ad aware...etc, etc...
I had a virus problem a few months ago, and still have one tid-bit left to get rid of...
I would like to know how to get rid of the "Isass.exe"...
If I remember correctly, it says the virus is in the:
Windows\windows32\system\isass.exe
I think this is right...if not...I'll post when it happens again...
I have this buried somewhere in my system, and can't get rid of it.
The system will shut down in 60 seconds at any time while I'm on the Internet...and reboot.
There is another window which pops up saying about the LSA Shell (Export Version) having a problem...
You probably recognize all this...

Interrupt..3
Address..2F8
UART..NS1655OAN
Highest speed..
Identifier..USRK2-Gen
Now, on Port Com 1, that...
Why does Win98 not detect the modem already installed?
The HD has been formatted, and WIN98 has been installed fresh.
When I try to connect to the internet, the system does not detect the modem already there.
Please...if this is a quick fix...let me know the details...if not...tell me how it...
