Hi, We found the issue with this problem was with port not being opened on the server that talks to the SAP box. Simple issue but 'errors provided didn't lead to the solution'. Cheers- immaculate1973

Hi all, We have Data stage 5.1 with SAP extractor pack which is utilised to connect to SAP R/3 system. On using the SAP ABAP extractor stage(ABAP_EXT_for_R3) , we need to use the 'extraction object' icon to connect to the SAP server.
