    Hi Jeiband, how's your testing? Have you got any final results? We are still facing the problem but temporarily we suggest using opening the documents via Word instead of double-clicking and opening in Windows Explorer.

    By the way, what brand of PC are you using? We are currently using Dell and I'm not sure if that will be brand or model related. We are using Windows NT environment.

    I'd got similar experience as well, but our users are using W2K SP2 and Office XP. I just wonder if that is related to the network share since we had tried saving the files to local hard drive and the problem does not occur. Still waiting for any ideas on solving this problem. As an interim...
