mySQL not secure on wind98. Any suggestions?
The only way I can think of providing some type of security is to encrypt the data in the database. I don't know of any databases right off that support that natively. Generally, saving encrypted data is handled on the application side, so you'll have to use and encryption/decryption layer... -

You most certainly can use ASP to access MySQL. I don't know what type of priveleges you have, but if you can setup a DSN to your MySQL database, it'll be a little easier to access. You can also access via a DSNless connection. All this is done through the an ADODB connection using the... -
Access Paradox DB w/ CR
I don't know what OS you're using, but on my XP Pro version, I already have a Paradox driver setup for selection when setting up a new ODBC DSN connection.
