new router and i know very little about networking
not sure what "give the new router a fixed IP outside of its DHCP scope, such as 192.168.1.3" means nor do i know how to do it.- civic57

This is probably an easy problem to fix, but it's been annoying me for so long i have to ask someone. I have a dsl connection that is connected to a router, and then connected to a hub and then to my computer. off of the hub, me, and my 2 roommates are connected and the room next door is...- civic57
