    How to set upo fixed IP address and open ports

    IPCONFIG tells me that my IP address is 192.168.1.64 but my fixed IP address is 87.74.42.129. Where so I enter this? In Nertwork Connections properties the 192 address is entered. Is this where I should put the 87 address? I have a Thomson Speedtouch 580 router and ZoneAlarm or Norton...

    I have a partial resolution to my problem! Thanks to everyone who offered help. First option was check that PuNP was started - OK. Later I discovered that Universal PuNP must NOT be started! Second option was Aproposfix which I assume is to get rid of some specific spyware/adware/malware...
