    Help all. I've been banging my brains out with version 10.0 and using XP Pro on my laptop modem (Dell Inspiron with a Broadcom V.92 56K modem). I've searched and searched, but cannot find the answer to this software conflict?? Modem works fine on com 3, but starting nru states could not open...

    I've tried it all, and I can't believe it. I've used task manager to shut down all apps that may use the modem, but still no dice. I will post in the norstar forum as well. Thanx for the help, and appreciate the feedback in advance.
