Hi Paul, Sorry my post must of come across wrong - it's already in a VBA module on the "ON Click" event of the button. It's a private sub - but are you suggesting to use a private function instead? Thanks Luke- lukeargent

Dmax or Stored Procedure?
I have a problem when using ADP connected to SQL Server 2000 that works fine when using a plain and simple MDB file.
