    When I try to use a start-up disk to load windows on a hard drive the floppy gives me a error Disk I/O error. What can be causing this problem? Help

    When I try to format a hard drive on a new system, I get a Disk I/O error? I've tried a new floppy and new cable, check to make sure Pin one was seated right? What else can I do to resolve this error. Is is a bad board. New board and processor.
