Intermittent message garbling

AMR Modems & CNR slot
Howdy, Just got a mobo with a CNR slot. I need to get a modem, but I can't seem to find a CNR modem online. Do AMR modems work in the CNR slot? I read somewhere that there is some compatibility between these types of slots. Any info is appreciated. Thanks, klaus83- klaus83
