i have a printout of the default settings for the services and know which should be automatic vs manual. i just went into safe mode and set them all to manual to see if i could figure out what was causing my svchost.exe error. as the error doesnt occur in safe mode but does occur in safe mode...
guess i was wrong. the winsock fix didnt work and i still get a svchost.exe error. funny that i have all the services set to manual and have no problems. but then i need the internet and start the DHCP and the errors begin????
will the winsockfix work for windows 2000 also???
i have the svchost.exe error and think i determined its from a DHCP client error. in safe mode ive turned to manual all the services in the admin tools. then do a normal boot and everythings fine but no internet. i manually start the DHCP...
