Thanks for the suggestion fluteplr.However I moved the asp page to one of my corporate servers and It worked fine.It seems that the webserver was far to busy with other requests.But I will keep your suggestion for the future.- qwerty980

Webserver freezes after starting indexing service
I have a webserver that hosts about 600 sites(OS win 2000AS).I start the Indexing service and it then it takes between 3 to 4 minutes for the webser to completely freeze up.If I was using terminal services, I would then have to go phisically to the box to restart it from the on/off button on the...- qwerty980
