I had the same thought and tried copying the contents onto my hard drive but with the same result. This is driving me nuts!- ladypol

Almost 6 Gb so I don't think that can be the problem but thanks for taking the time to reply. ANy other ideas? I've also tried copying the entire disc onto my HD and installing from there but I always get the same error.- ladypol

I'm trying to install softawre for a scanner ( although this has happened with other software too) and each time I get the message: setup initialization error setup is unable to decompress all of the programs needed to proceed with he installation error 112 It doesn't happen with all software...- ladypol
