cablepuller, I think the RJ11 jack on that remote surveillance system is to connect to a phone line. Bospruel, the usuall voltage of cctv canmmeras are 12v DC and 24v AC. DC drops in voltage the farther the cable run. AC can travel farther distance with very little voltage drop- CrazyRabbit
