HD 'Stuck' in PIO mode
I have the same problem. Microsoft say that it is due to XP seeing CRC errors and slowing the drive to try to increase reliability (less corruption of data). They say that if you uninstall the device (IDE channel) and reboot Windows XP may reinstall the driver as Ultra DMA 5. Personally I think...- Stretch001
