    virus scanners wont start....

    sorry for the last double threading...m kinda new here ne ways.... my norton anti virus worked quite well before until i stopped using it. i tried to open it but it wont. I checked in the scheduled tasks in the control panel and its status is set to 'could not start' but i can't find the reason...

    uuummm....my task manager appears quite normally when i activ8 it but for only 1 or 2 secs. then it disappears. y is it doing dis? and how can i fix it? (to stay and appear for as long as i want it 2)
