I have the same things happen at where I am. I know for a fact that ATI products have a glitch. I have installed 3 computers with an ATI Rage128 Fury ProII/Xpert2000 Pro, ATI Ratheon GVR9700 Pro, and a ATI Rage 128 GL AGP on PC's. They all had that problem of infinite loops.
