they were fat 32.. however thanks for the advise .. problem sorted out .. HDD died totally (was a brand new one too ) so got a new one that set up first go..- Jazzminka

I tried to install a 60 gig HDD fdisked partitioned and formatted 3 partitions when i went to install windows 2000 professional the setup wouldnot recognise the hdd which is a western digital. I checked the bios seetings found the hdd and tried again only to be told that it required a...- Jazzminka
