    Outgoing voice fails

I haven't the slightest idea what that means. Neither term appears in the manual.

    Outgoing voice fails

A sizable fraction of our incoming calls result in the caller not being able to hear our response. We have three 206Es and a R4.1 Partner Processor. It only happens on the primary line, and if I swap incoming lines, the problem stays on the first line into the first 206E. Is the problem likely...

    Partner System forgetting configuration info

Thanks. Now I just need to find a time when the system can be down for an hour without causing problems.

    Partner System forgetting configuration info

i found the battery at refurb supplies. the battery description says "BATTERY 30170: Avaya, Partner, Plus II, 206, 3.6 Volt, 150mAh". Are there batteries on the 206E moduyle as well? Seems odd.

    Partner System forgetting configuration info

Can anyone tell me what the battery in the Partner II processor is? I'd like to replace it without having to open it twice.

    Partner System forgetting configuration info

Definitely not an ACS. It may be time to upgrade, since there seems to be more wrong than forgetting.

    Partner System forgetting configuration info

I have a R4.1 Processor and several R3.x 206Es, and my elderly system occasionally fails to remember it's config data after a power failure. I assume the data is stored on the Processor and maybe there's a button battery that has died? I've restored the info by hand a few times, but as the...

    Partner 306E issue

I tried a POTS phone on the CO line, and it worked. The problem is intermittent, so that might not have been a conclusive test. I have three 206Es and three CO lines, so I swapped the primary 206E with the third one, which had no inbound lines attached, and the problem remained the same. I...

    Partner 306E issue

Swapping 206Es did not fix the problem. I re-seated all the modules in the course of the swap, so it's probably not connector corrosion. Since the backplane is passive, I guess that leaves the processor? Are the Partner Plus and Partner II compatible?

    Partner 306E issue

I don't think the R8 supports any of my existing hardware (from an earlier post).

    Partner 306E issue

I installed a Partner system in my wife's office in 2000, and it was already pretty old. In includes three R3.x 206Es, an R4.1 Processor, and a VM box. It has worked reliably over the years, but recently, calls on one CO line are intermittently half-duplex (The outside user can't hear anything...

    Partner system question

My wife hopes to retire in the next few years, and a couple of $25 206Es seemed to have fixed the problem. In case things deteriorate, what is the compatibility between the R4.1 processor and 308ECs, or the ACS R8 and 206Es?

    Partner system question

I installed a Partner system in my wife's office in 2000, so it was already pretty old. In includes three R3.x 206Es, an R4.1 Processor, and a VM box. It has worked reliably over the years, except for the VM box needing a new power supply and fan, both from a PC/XT, but I've lately been...
