You can either import the id field into the autonumber, or, you may need to import 1 record with the ID number you wish to start with and it will then increment from there. I've found ways around this issue in the past and there was something in the Access help file.

Answered my own question. Find the "junk senders.txt" and copy to appropriate directory on second computer. I did have to make sure it went into the correct profile, as I did not have Windows hardware profiles set up on the original laptop.

Yesterday I suddenly started receiving the message "There is no object in this control" when the export table to text wizard starts. This is in Access 97. Anyone run across this and have suggestions for a fix?
