    XP slow drive mapping on nt 4 domain -- Please help!

    Spent the whole day on the same problem. Setting and lowering the MTU to 1450 using Dr. TCP utility on the xp pro client dramatically increased the speed of the network browse to a folder on the nt 4 server with over 8000 files.
