No, I'm extending the array, and adding a new drive letter

That's the process I tried first, but when I need to assign the volune to the physical disk resource there's no volume to select. There are requisites that a volume must meet in order to be elegible to use it as a physical disk resource?

The disk I'm trying to set up is a Dynamic disk. could it be done?. Do I need to use a basic disk?
