    Make sure every Win2k W/S is running SP3 or SP4 and every XP machine is running SP1. Otherwise on the Win2k machines running SP2 or earlier you either need to update to at least SP3 or install the latest Auto Update Client from the MS SUS site.

    When does SUS server deploy updates

    On every workstation that is using the GPO for SUS a Windows Update.log file is generated and it shows when the clients are querying the SUS server. You can also look at the iuhist.xml file on each workstation to see what updates are being applied.
