Restore by backup media takes too long. It will take over an hour to restore a 1 MB file from over 50GB of compressed data using this method...
No. The Iomega version of Arcserve is available only with the purchase of the iomega rev library. I have the standalone drive so there is no special version that CA will give me. I have version 11.1 with all the updates including the newest certified device list. Still the same problem
I have the iomege rev drive with arcserve 11.1 backing up about 50 GB with software compression. (about 10 hours) long delay due to external usb drive. It does the job but Arcserve is still a little glitchy using the rev drive. I am sure there will updates soon to fix many of these problems.
I have the Same exact configuration with the iomega rev as a file system device and I am having the SAME EXACT problem.

I have a problem printing access reports. Only SOMETIMES will it print extra pages. And it is not a margin issue or anything of the sort since it prints normally to all printers and then for no apparent reason the same report on the same printer will print page 3 of 2, 4 of 2, 5 of 2, etc up...
