DPitt, The system tray is the area next to the clock. Messenger minimizes there, as can winamp and many other programs. You are referring to the quicklaunch bar, which is next to the start button, but is only a collection of shortcuts. Does anyone know of a freeware utility to minimize...- Hiflyer

Minimize outllok to system tray.
I'm running office 2000 on Windows ME. I tried editing the registry as written above, but no joy. I even tried making the modifications in HKEY Local Machine (as my computer is not set up for multiple users), and tried adding the keys to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0 and 8.0...- Hiflyer
