I have a quick question, I have windows server 2008, and was looking into setting up terminal server. would i need a terminal router for the security or would i be ok without it? and would i be able to set up a machine with linux and make that into a router?
what is the minimum requirement to run a terminal server...would you be able to turn your old desktop into one? or would it be wise to have a newer computer (faster) as a terminal server?
i was talking to someone and they were recommending to use "vmware" they said i could even have a linux/unix server set up and then have a virtual server with programs that are only for microsoft etc...
