I checked all of that. The service is running under the System id, the account the tasks are running under have a password and it is properly set for the task. The tasks were not moved from another PC (plus I have deleted all of them and recreated them). I can not think of anything else to try.
I have used Task Scheduler in NT and W2K without a problem for several years. I run 6-10 tasks per day. When I went to XP I setup Task Scheduler for a number of items, including using a valid user id and password, but after a few days the scheduled tasks stop working (they would run initially)...
