Option 11 Remote Access
Hi all I am sure I am dialling onto the modem that the installers setup. Its a BT modem simply because it hangs off a seperate digital line. There is an old 56k USR next to the cabinet, but it's not plugged in. The number I was given to dial is ( as far as I am aware) the same number they used...- eabeukes

Thanks for the answers! I think this is an older system, as the only DIP's are on the PRI card..! There seems to be an BT box plugged it which I assume is the modem. I can connect, but all I get is gibbersih when I type anything on the HyperTerm screen.. Any idea's?- eabeukes

Hi All I have learned quite a bit from these forums by browsing, but the one thing I cannot find any info on is Remote Dial settings. ie What terminal settings do I use in HyperTerm? Do I need extra settings on my modem when dialling? What other options do I have besides modem? And something...- eabeukes
